The People Who Commit These Crimes Want Your Money
Psychiatrists, who have been hit with $60 million in criminal and civil fines, restitution and jury verdicts so far this year — already a 150 percent increase over all of last year.
Psychiatrists, whose sentencing and jailing for crimes — ranging from health care fraud to rape and murder — has increased 1700 percent over the past two decades.
A psychiatric industry that has labeled 2.4 million U.S. children as mentally disordered and sent them off to special education, yet these children were simply not taught to read.
California state mental hospitals, all four of which are under Department of Justice investigation for violations of state and federal law. One of them alone has racked up $73.9 million in U.S. Justice Department sanctions for corrupt practices.

The way mental health lobbyists have written it, Prop 63, even before it goes into effect, gives the psycho-pharma industry carte blanche access to money from the state’s General Fund in order to make more psychiatrists and give them more buildings. This means other vital services will be cut — hospitals and emergency rooms, after-school programs, aid to dependent families and children and countless other services that will then be denied those truly in need.
Prop 63’s greatest harm lies in the lives of innocent victims it will destroy through mandated screening, predominantly of children and ethnic minorities. From there, it’s psychiatry’s treadmill, sentencing them to a life of debilitating drugs and abuse.
It is in the spirit of preventing this outcome that this issue of Freedom urges you to vote “NO” on Proposition 63 on November 2, 2004.
